— Our story
In 1859, Sashima tea was the first from Japan to cross the ocean.
As Japan reopened to the world, Sashima became the starting point of Japanese tea export. Our founder grew up in Ibaraki and founded CHATANI to share the teas of Sashima with the world.
This is not a discovery. It is a return.
